Intel has just introduced a 48-core chip, capable of performing 1000 billion calculations in a second, 10 to 20 times more powerful than today's high-end Dual Core chips, while consuming power only with a bulb use in family.

This chip is mainly used for data centers and computing services, capable of performing 1000 billion calculations per second.

48-core chip gathers high-speed information sharing network technology and power management capability, the lowest power consumption is 25w, the highest is 125w.

In 2007, Intel introduced the 80-core chip, not only able to calculate 1000 billion calculations, while the power consumption was even more wasteful than the 4-core chip.

Rattner said at the moment, Intel is accelerating its plan to develop the chip and will quickly launch high-tech products to the market.

Intel calls this chip a "single chip cloud computer", because its structure is like a cloud computing center.
