Life of wildlife in the salt basin

The dry season in the salt basin of Botswana is a harsh time for many wildlife species, while weather conditions in the rainy season are their habitats.

The environmental conditions here are quite harsh for wild animals.In the dry season, very few animals live in this area, however when the rainy season comes, the animals come here.

The rainy season lasts from January to March. When the rainy season comes, most of the areas of salt pans are submerged, making flocks of flamingos possible to nest, large flocks of animals such as zebras and antelopes also return to live.

Rare plant species in this area are green algae layers and several baobab trees.In the picture is a tswana cow moving between the blue waters of the algae layers.

Wild animals such as lion or zebra hunting newspapers can be found in many parts of Africa.However, in this environment, they rarely appear.

For many years, tourism activities have greatly affected the living environment of animals.Tourists are brought to salt basins with many different types of vehicles, in the picture is the trace of the wheel loader.

From a height of 150m, animals such as zebras, antelopes, donkeys or tswana, a native animal in Africa, appear as small dots.
