Mobility helps reduce the risk of Alzheimer's disease
A recent study published in the journal Neurology shows that older people who are active as gardeners or housework are less likely to develop Alzheimer's disease than those who are lazy.
Gardening also helps reduce the risk of Alzheimer's disease
The study was conducted on 716 dementia people, with an average age of 82, wearing a motor level measuring device.
The results showed that, in about 4 years, 71 of 716 had signs of disease
The team said that among 71 people with signs of this disease, 8% were active subjects, while 18% were among the least active subjects.
Dr Aron Buchman, associate professor of neuroscience at the University of Rush Medical Center in Chicago, said: "Actively works for your health. If you can't participate in exercise, just need to increase mobilization and travel around can also bring long-term benefits ".
