NASA released a new image of the Horse Head Nebula
The image was compiled based on data from many satellites showing the special shape of the Horsehead Nebula 1,500 light-years from Earth.

The US Space Agency (NASA) on Tuesday released the latest image of the Horsehead Nebula, also known as Barnard 33 - part of the molecular cloud complex in the Orion constellation. This is one of the most recognizable nebulae in the universe because of its dust clouds shaped like a horse's head.
"Radiation and stellar winds (the process by which a star loses its material in the evolutionary phase) have created this giant cloud of this particular shape," NASA explained. " With a height of about 5 light-years, Barnard 33 can be observed because of its dark cloud of dust and gas that obscures the red glowing nebula called IC 434 at the back."
To create this stunning image, astronomers said they used data from broadband and narrowband images of various telescopes, including the Hubble space telescope. NASA equipment earlier this week also captured the image of galaxy NGC 3175 glowing more than 50 million light-years from Earth.
