No noise plane

The tailless plane has a bat-like appearance. The wing is ' attached ' to the body, and the engine is attached to the back of the aircraft. Thanks to such structure, noise level has been significantly reduced.

SAX-40
(Silent Aircraft eXperimental)

Experts from the University of Cambridge (UK) and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA) have created a project of no-noise aircraft under the name SAX-40. The model of the future aircraft was introduced at the Royal Society for Aviation in London.

This device is fundamentally different from the existing aircraft. Its wings are ' attached ' to the body, and the engine is attached to the back of the aircraft. Thus, the tailless plane has a bat-like appearance. Thanks to such structure, noise level has been significantly reduced.

Moreover, the engine structure also allows to reduce fuel consumption, and therefore, reduce the amount of waste to the environment. Designers emphasize on this point. Noise-free aircraft uses 35% more fuel than the most economical of all existing aircraft. There are things we can not soon step up to this new generation aircraft.

It is expected that the aircraft will be produced by manufacturers sooner than 2030
