At the ceremony, Mr. Ngo Quang Xuan, former Vietnamese ambassador to the United Nations, Vice Chairman of the Central Vietnam National Record Association, awarded the certificate "The cave has a unique stalactite and stalagmite system and most magnificent in Asia " for Thien Duong cave.
This is one of the world famous caves, belonging to Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park (Quang Binh), 60km northwest of Dong Hoi City. Located in the primeval forest at an altitude of 360 meters above the sea level, the cave is 31.4 km long, first discovered by the Royal Society of British Caves in 2005.
