People live separately from the world because of electrical equipment allergies

Peter Lloyd locked himself in a chair and did not dare to leave the house because of the disease that was hypersensitive to electromagnetic. Just by getting close to the phone, the television, he had a severe allergy.

This 42-year-old man was diagnosed with a strange disease called "electromagnetic hypersensitivity". Lloyd often spends most of his time sitting on a sofa in his home in St Fagans, Cardiff City, England. He did not dare to go out and could not use any electronic gadgets such as TVs, phones and CD players because all could cause a serious electromagnetic response to him.

Lloyd's visitors have to leave their phones and watches outside the house. He also could not use electricity for heating or lighting, if he wanted to take a hot bath, he had to cook with a gas stove.

In 2009 when moving to this house, Lloyd had to move by wheelchair at night to minimize the risk of exposure to electricity. Leaving home can make him seriously allergic if he accidentally encounters someone on a mobile phone or a passing car, an electric drill or even a wifi broadcast station. . Lloyd said he had read about 100 books a year to overcome the loneliness that had to isolate himself.

Lloyd used to be a fitness trainer, he began to feel this strange disease at age 20.'I have a fuzzy feeling in my head when I look at the computer and can't think clearly. I had trouble talking, couldn't describe what I was thinking. ' Once, Lloyd tried to remember to write down what to buy at a nutritious food store but in the end his mind was tangled. up and can't do it.

Hypersensitivity to magnetism is most evident from the first time Lloyd is allergic to his mobile phone. From then on, he became more sensitive to many electronic devices and with different frequencies."At first I believed I could deal with these symptoms, but the situation became worse and worse. I had a severe headache every time I came into contact with them."

"I came across a number of articles describing symptoms like me. These may be pathologically hypersensitive . " Lloyd said that after three years in Spain, he returned to Cardiff, his current residence.

What makes this man sadest is that the landlady in the past felt uncomfortable and wanted to evict him because he made her house "gloomy" . Cardiff City Council is responsible for social security, but they refuse to arrange for patients a suitable accommodation for his medical needs.

It is likely that in the next few days Lloyd will be expelled from his home. He could end his life in a hospital, where he was full of fear that could make his illness more serious due to allergies to medical devices. All Lloyd wanted was to have an isolated wooden cabin suitable for his health condition.

The term "electromagnetic hypersensitivity" was known in 1994, referring to the case that some people are susceptible to electromagnetism as well as electric fields.

Since the early 1930s, EHS symptoms (electromagnetic sensitivity) have been reported in people working in radio stations, electrical industry or in contact with military radar. EHS environment appeared popular in the community since the 1970s with the appearance of computers. This situation increased in the 1980s when there were mobile phones and wireless wave systems, especially wifi since 2000.

In 2009, the European Parliament voted to recognize people with EHS on disability groups. Although officially recognized, many doctors still know very little information or know nothing about this condition. More than 5% of the world population believes that they are affected by electromagnetic or radiation receptors undergoing feelings such as headaches, coma and nausea when exposed to different electrical devices.

There is no evidence of the long-term effects of electromagnetic waves, but some people reflect that they feel uncomfortable when using a device with wifi or electromagnetic.
