Caffeine in coffee is a stimulating agent capable of affecting the brain, preventing sleepiness and fatigue. Some scientists from Bristol University in the UK want to understand the impact of coffee on the body when people are in a state of fatigue, especially when someone drinks a lot of coffee during a stressful meeting, Telegraph reported.

They recruited 64 volunteers to perform a test. Volunteers are divided into 32 couples of the same gender. The team assigns each to several tasks - such as negotiating terms in commercial contracts, solving puzzles or memorizing objects.

To increase pressure on volunteers, experts say, all 64 people will have to present to the crowd about the method they apply to complete the tasks.

The team gave each pair two types of coffee, one of which did not contain caffeine, so they could drink while performing the work. Then they track the volunteers' activities.

The results showed that the level of accuracy, speed of manipulation and thinking of men who drank coffee with caffeine decreased significantly. For example, their puzzle time is at least 20 seconds longer than those who drink caffeine-free coffee. The same thing does not happen to other men.

In contrast, women who drink coffee with caffeine complete tasks more quickly and accurately. For example, compared to women who drink caffeine-free coffee, their puzzle time is at least 100 seconds shorter.

In the journal Applied Social Spychology , the team claims that drinking a lot of coffee in stressful and important meetings is not a good idea, especially for men.

' If you drink coffee in the meeting, men may accidentally ruin the spirit of cooperation in the process of solving difficult problems ,' they explained.

Experts say their research is significant because coffee is one of the most widely used and widely used substances in the world. People all over the world drink billions of cups of coffee every day. Coffee offers a number of health benefits, such as preventing diabetes and dementia, reducing kidney damage and even fighting gout.

Moreover, drinking coffee in the meeting has become a habit of many people. In most of the world's most important meetings, men are the final decision makers.
