Leon Deschamps, a 32-year-old animal conservation expert, says he is willing to give up his life to prove that tiger sharks are not crazy killing machines and they do not attack people.
"People think all sharks are aggressive and cannibalistic. Tiger sharks are no exception. Humans are afraid of tiger sharks because we do not understand them," Deschamps commented on Telegraph yesterday. .
According to Deschamps, tiger sharks are grouped with white sharks and bull sharks, but their behavior and hunting habits are completely different.

"Tiger sharks rarely show aggression. Through photos people can see me sitting on their prey but still peaceful. Tiger sharks are the most aggressive when eating, but they are not annoying. when I tapped their noses , " he said.
The 32-year-old decided to experiment when he heard some fishermen say there was a large whale carcass near the coast in western Australia. He and some friends went there and saw sharks of tiger sharks poking whale meat. Deschamps swam to the corpse and climbed up to let a friend take a picture.
"Tiger sharks are only about 1 meter away from me. At that distance white sharks can pop up and finish my life, but tiger sharks don't do that , " Deschamps.
However, Deschamps still recommends that others should not experiment like him.
