Researchers from the Department of Agronomy, University of Agriculture and Forestry - Hue University have studied and successfully produced nodule bacteria to increase peanut yield; while contributing to soil improvement and environmental protection.

Preparations of nodule bacteria work according to the mechanism, when the infection will help maintain and improve the chemical properties of the soil, such as increasing the content of humus, phosphorus, nitrogen ., while also increasing the number The amount of useful microorganisms in peanut soil to resolve the substances that help peanuts grow.

According to the study, when applying nodule bacteria, total beneficial bacteria for peanut development increased from 1.13 to 1.42 times; nodule bacteria increased from 1.16 to 2.99 times; Microorganisms dissolving phosphorus in the soil increased from 1.7 to 2.61 times.

Currently, the rhizobial inoculants are prepared in two types from the NH1 and PC isolate strains. Both have similar uses and have been produced.

The researchers recommend that the nodule bacteria will work best when applied at a dose of 30-35kg per hectare of groundnut. Besides, on the soil, apply manure, lime and a small amount of other fertilizers.

In addition to Thua Thien-Hue, rhizobial inoculants are also suitable for the peanut soil conditions of the central provinces and cities.

According to the researchers, the application of rhizobial inoculants was carried out in peanut growing areas of Thua Thien-Hue, including Tu Ha, Huong Chu, Huong Tra town; Huong Long, Hue city; Quang Vinh, Quang Dien district; Phu Mau, Phu Vang district .

With the application of 35kg of rhizobial inoculant per hectare of groundnut, together with some other fertilizers, increased peanut yield by more than 30%, better groundnut, and the form and volume of copper tubers more evenly.
