Mr. Nguyen Van Khoi - Director of Bai Bang Labor Union Joint Stock Company, Project Manager said that the project has been carried out since 2010. To produce organic fertilizer derived from microorganisms The company takes advantage of the source locally available materials are the bark of paper material plants.

The procedure is as follows, the bark of paper material is crushed and crumbled to a size not exceeding 0.2mm. To adjust the pH of raw materials, the company added 3% lime powder, moisture content of materials reached 28-30%. Then proceed to mix materials and ferment microorganisms; composting materials; check the safety of substrate; preparation of concentrated functional microbial preparations; mixing; Ready to grind to produce quality organic fertilizer.

After successful production, the project carried out a test of the effect of microbial organic fertilizer on crops, including short-day leaf vegetables such as kohlrabi, cabbage, cauliflower, fruit beans, tomatoes and cucumbers; and implemented in Tu Xa communes (Lam Thao district), An Dao (Phu Ninh district), and Tan Duc (Viet Tri city) using microorganism organic fertilizer to replace all manure and 15% fertilizer Inorganic.

In 2 years of implementation, the project has produced 271.9 tons of vegetables of all kinds; consume products through safe vegetable shops of cooperatives in Viet Tri city.

The project has also produced 1,000kg of microbial inoculants to treat organic matter and 500 tons of functional micro-organic fertilizer to meet the pilot model of the project. In addition, microbial organic fertilizer is also applied to other crops such as rice and forestry trees in the locality and is appreciated for quality.

According to the assessment of the Department of Science and Technology of Phu Tho province, micro-organic fertilizer products have the function of improving soil, making the soil fertile and more porous. Using micro-organic fertilizer, the plants in the model give high and stable yield of 17.5-32.4 tons / ha.

In addition, the content of heavy metals, pesticides in safe vegetables of the model are below the allowed level of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Successful production of microbial organic fertilizer will help farmers in Phu Tho province towards safe and sustainable agricultural production, bringing high economic efficiency.
