Simulation of the journey of Vietnam remote sensing satellite
In the morning, Vietnam's first earth observation satellite VNREDSat-1 will enter the space from the French launch pad, opening new directions in the field of conquering the universe.

VNREDSat-1 satellite will enter the universe at 9:06 am tomorrow in Hanoi by Vega boosters from launch yards in Kourou, French Guiana.
According to Bui Trong Tuyen, Deputy Director of the Institute of Space Technology, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, expected to receive the first signal from satellite at 14:30 on the same day.
"Two days later, we will collect the first photograph of the earth of VNREDSat-1 satellite, one day later there will be photos taken in the territory of Vietnam" , Tuyen said.
VNREDSat-1 satellite is designed and manufactured by EADS Astrium company, France with a total investment of about 70 million USD with preferential ODA loans from the French government and Vietnam's reciprocal capital. The satellite measures 600mm x 570mm x 500mm and weighs about 120kg. Its design life is 5 years.
