On the afternoon of January 20, the music program "Psychological care for children in hospital" was first organized by the Central Children Hospital. The large hall was packed with young patients. The children are either wrapped in bandages, people smell of antiseptic, either blue, exhausted, or lose their hair because of cancer treatment, or sit in a wheelchair with legs cast, or be carried by their mothers with the infusion tree . All of them attentively watched the musical performances performed by the children of Thanh Cong Primary School. Temporarily forgetting all the pain and fear, these babies regained the innocence of the children that the long days of running in the hospital have lost much.

Dr. Nguyen Thanh Lien, director of the hospital, said that giving children to watch music during the inpatient treatment has a great therapeutic effect, especially for those who are hospitalized for a long time. These children were severely stressed because they were often examined, forced to take medicine, and infused, always being restrained, lonely in the narrow space of the sick room, all around were painful people. When watching the music, the children like to come back with daily joys, feeling they are not separated from normal life anymore. The fun and relaxation will help increase resistance and make children recover faster. Therefore, the hospital cooperated with a number of high schools to regularly organize cultural performances for inpatients, periodically every 2 weeks.

Crossing Dr. Liem's, Hoai Son, 8 months old, sat behind him, crying out because the song ended. But after that, I grinned again when the song started, dancing very hard on my mother's lap . The mother said that Son had an injury due to an accident, and nowadays, she just lost her body because of tiredness, blood loss, and did not expect this afternoon to be "strong" . On stage, a pretty 6-year-old girl is singing, though her voice is weak but her legs are constantly moving with music. Looking at Dieu Thu's stylish headscarf and blond hair, her name, few people knew it was a wig, because she had lost her hair. Collecting blood cancer, the treatment makes me depleted. But when going on stage, this skinny girl was still able to "do" 2 songs, then gave a nice bow.

Dr. Do Manh Hung, the organizer of the program, said that this is a useful activity that is not very expensive . All schools are happy to perform free of charge for children because this is also a way to enrich the school's social activities and foster compassion for students. Therefore, according to Dr. Hung, it is feasible to regularly organize music programs for sick children.
