On October 10, the International Conference 'Application of space technology to serve socio-economic interests' took place in Hanoi.

This 5-day seminar, organized by the Institute of Space Technology - Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology in collaboration with the United Nations Office on Cosmic Issues (UNOOSA), European aerospace agency (ESA), International Association for Aerial and Remote Sensing (ISPRS), US Aerospace Agency (NASA) organized with the participation of scientists from more than 30 countries and territories .

The workshop aims to support the application of aerospace technology, both products and services, to promote awareness of the application of space technology at all levels of society, building understanding of community about the social benefits of space technology.
