Sperm washing helps HIV patients to have healthy babies
The Central Obstetrics Hospital has successfully applied sperm washing method to help HIV patients can produce healthy, normal babies, at a cost of only 200,000 VND / time. This is considered good news for pregnant patients with HIV.

According to the statistics published by the Department of HIV / AIDS Prevention and Control (MOH), it is estimated that Vietnam has between 1 and 1.5 million pregnant women each year and about 6,000 people are infected with HIV / AIDS and nearly 2,000 children with HIV from their mothers.
According to the agency, the goal of the National Action Program for preventing mother-to-child HIV transmission from now until 2010 will reduce the transmission rate from 30% of the total number of births to 10%.
Any HIV-infected women who wants to have children will be provided with counseling and treatment services. 100% of HIV-positive tests are also provided for prevention of mother-to-child transmission.
