After cutting from the tree, the flower branch loses the water and nutrition provided by the pseudocode. Besides rotting microorganisms begin to destroy the conductive tissue in the cut. In order for flower buds to fully bloom and keep flowers fresh for a long time (about 2 weeks after cutting), the following basic techniques need to be followed:

- From cutting to harvesting, flowers should be plugged in water and put in a cool and damp place.

- Immediately before preliminary processing and packaging, cut off the stems of a branch of 5 cm with a sharp knife.

- Disinfect the cut and the last 10 cm of the flower branch in 5% CuS0 4 solution .

- Column around the cut a cotton swab.

- For stem stems, tie cotton balls into a small plastic bag about 10 cm high.

- Wrap each flower with a curled paper (for large flowers)

- Put padded paper around flower branches (small flowers) before wrapping.

- Package each flower branch. Flower stalks have been wrapped in plastic bags with cotton and water.

- Put flowers in a hard carton to prepare for transport.

- Pour the disinfected 1% saccharose sugar water into wet cotton swabs and have a little extra.

- Tighten the mouth of the plastic bag into the stems of flowers so that the water does not flow.

- Storing, transporting in cool conditions, sufficiently open to consumers in the shortest time .

Flower processing technology before we export our products so far has been sketchy and only ensures the minimum requirement is to keep the flowers relatively fresh when arriving at the receiving place. There are a number of issues that need to be addressed such as:

- Packaging techniques for each flower branch or for each lot (3 branches, 10 branches .) must be researched and presented to increase the aesthetic value for flowers, attract customers' tastes.

- Techniques to provide water and nutrition for flowers so that the time of using flowers is long, the buds bloom completely.

- Change many types of processing to enrich items such as displaying each individual flower with other types of leaves, or combining with some wild orchids of our country .

Technology of preserving, processing, packaging and presenting art for Cymbidium flowers before exporting is an important issue that needs special investment in research to increase product value. On that basis, we can determine step by step for Cymbidium Da Lat flowers in particular, for Lan Vietnam in general, a worthy position in the international orchid market.
