Hannah Harpin from Huddersfield (England), suffers from Ectodermal Dysplasia mutation syndrome, causing her sweat glands to be inactive. Currently, only 30 people in the world have rare syndrome like Hannah.

The inactive sweat glands can cause Hannah to overheat and faint if she acts too much, especially in hot weather. Therefore, Hannah's parents kept their daughter cool by bringing cold water spray, ice pack and fan.

The Daily Mail quoted Hannah's father, Richard Harpin, saying: 'Hannah always slept with a fan and didn't go outside on hot days. We use cold ice, wet towels and water to cool her whenever her body temperature is too high. If we don't do that, we don't know what will happen, she can faint and endanger her life. '

Ectodermal Dysplasia syndrome also causes Hannah to have virtually no hair, thin eyelashes, no lacrimal duct and left eye can not open normally. This 8-year-old girl must also use hearing aids because her hearing is impaired.

Wendy Shires, Hannah's mother, recounted: 'After our daughter was born, the doctors discovered she had a frog problem. They conducted a lot of tests later and found out that they have Ectodermal Dysplasia 'gene mutation syndrome.

Although rare genetic mutations are rare, Hannah girls still go to school like other normal children. She began to know how to deal with her illness by carrying a bottle of water with her often.
