Thai doctors have discovered a female patient in this country infected with a new strain of HIV, combining the A / E and C lines, which have never been known.
While A / E lines are common in HIV / AIDS patients in Thailand (98%), line C is usually found only in Africa. Public opinion is very confused about the above information. Health officials call for safe sex measures to prevent HIV.
Dr. Tudarshan, Director General of Thailand's Disease Prevention Division (DDC), said that although only a new case of HIV infection has been detected, this is a sign that this virus is changing, making it more difficult for the country to research and manufacture HIV vaccines.
