Thailand: Poisoning from bamboo shoots?

An expert from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention came to Nan province to investigate the cause and urgently transfer 50 doses of antitrust serum to patients.

He and Canada also provided Thai serum aid. Thai officials said it was unclear where the food source signal was contaminated, but the food was poisoned .

Every year, toxic botulin bacteria cases are reported in Thailand and around the world. But for the first time, the experiment confirmed that Thai food contaminated with botulin bacteria also occurred in the north in 1998, and the origin of this discovery was also from bamboo shoots.

American health experts are enthusiastically studying the cause to prepare for the attack in biological weapons in the United States. After the press conference Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra said, the Thai government approved 33 million baht (equivalent to 851,000 US dollars and 701,000 Euro) emergency budget to help the victims of the latest poisoning.

About half of them will be used for victims of seroconversion.
