(Photo: AP) Canadian researchers have conducted a trial in a group of 20 women in an average age of 30. All women have polycystic ovary syndrome that causes hormone disorders. and infertility due to the maturation of inhibited oocyte.
The researchers extracted all 296 oocytes, of which 290 were not mature. Thanks to a special in vitro implant technique, these sex cells have been matured within 48 hours, then refrigerated for months from a vitrification device developed by McGill Hospital.
After thawing, 148 oocyte cells were fertilized through sperm injection into the cytoplasm. The researchers obtained 64 embryos but only 4 pregnancies were created.
According to Dr. Holzer, this method can help treat infertility, especially in women who cannot apply ovarian stimulation techniques and do not have time to perform this technique. However, he said the study was only in the early stages.
