A company in southern China has developed a fully-equipped chef robot to cook thousands of traditional dishes.

Chinese chefs may soon lose their jobs. Picture: schenstock . Robot named AIC-AI by Fanxing Science Technology Company in Shenzhen. It can be fried, boiled, steamed, baked and other Chinese-style cooking moves.
At a demonstration held by the company on Oct. 8, the robot cooked the fried shrimp with delicious taste and attractive presentation, in just 5 minutes.
Robot will be available in 2007, focusing on fast food stores. The family version will also be released shortly thereafter.
