More than 4,500 pythons have invaded houses in Bangkok in 2017, the National Park Bureau, Thailand Animal and Plant Conservation (DNP) has just announced.

Why is snake python or crawling into people's houses like that? Supakorn Pathumrattanakarn, a wildlife expert at DNP, says the answer is quite simple.
Snakes live in residential areas because there are mice to eat , Supakorn said. Poor waste disposal in Bangkok makes the city a lot of mice - animals that eat leftovers in the trash.
And the end result is more snake pythons appear. " Everywhere there are mice where there are snakes and pythons ," Supakorn said.
In addition, Supakorn believes there are more than 1 million mice in Bangkok. He said that from January 1, 2008, the city has captured 913 pythons and snakes.
