Authorities in Curitiba City, Brazil have just released a public bus that is advertised as the longest in the world. This is the latest type of public transport used in this country.
Xinhua reported that the extended bus was manufactured by Volvo in Brazil using the Neobus chassis.
The car is 28 meters long and 2.6 meters wide, accommodating 250 passengers. What is special is that vehicles run on biodiesel made from soybeans. This feature makes the car rated as very environmentally friendly.
On April 5, Curitiba City Hall held a ceremony to introduce the world's longest connecting bus to the press before putting it into service in the city's public transport network in the future.
