Archaeologists discovered blue frescoes, winged horses and naked wind gods in a 1,400-year-old tomb in China.
The research team found many murals with rich and rich motifs meaning many of them have never been seen in other tombs of the same period, in the tomb located in Hanzhou City, Shanxi Province. The results of the study are published in the Chinese Journal of Archeology, Live Science reported on May 1.

Scientists at Son Tay Archaeological Institute have not fully understood the meaning of some images. They cannot explain why the wind god is described almost naked or the vivid green monster on the wall symbolizes what. They knew the tomb for the first time in the spring of 2013 and conducted excavations until 2014.
The team found that the grave had been stolen almost, and there was no grave's body but only a few fragments of the coffin. However, they determined many parts of the passageway and hallways had not been stolen and some artifacts along with the murals were still intact.
In addition to portraying mythological imagery, the frescoes depict people selling horses, hunting and working in a watchtower.
"Topics such as heaven, horse riding, hunting, large watchtower and rich clothing styles, all provide valuable information for studying social, historical, cultural and team life. the army of the ancients " , archaeologists said.
