The US discovered the pink fish does not have extremely rare eyes

There is a species of catfish that has no eyes only living in Mexico and has been discovered in a deep limestone cave in Texas (USA).

The tiny pink catfish , only 8cm long, without eyes , the scientific name is Prietella phreatophila , in Texas has long "dodged" scientists.

"I see these fish just as they do in Mexico. It's small, pink and has no eyes. Its skin is milky, showing blood inside."

"They only live in deep water, especially Edwards-Trinity aquifers in the Rio Grande basin in Texas and Coahuila, Mexico," - Jack Johnson said.

Aquifer is the habitat of this rare species, also threatened by environmental pollution. Endangered catfishes are in danger of extinction. Their health shows the sustainability of aquifers and human water use.
