The woman has extraordinary memory

A 42-year-old California woman can remember every detail of her life thoroughly. She could describe where she was, what she did, and what news stood out in newspapers on any day since 1976.

The woman called AJ said she could not forget anything even if she wanted to, and considered her life like a movie that never stopped.

AJ has been examined by scientists to recall the past on random days since adolescence. She remembers big events like Elvis Presley dying on August 16, 1977. But she remembers small details like a local tax passed in 1978 and a plane crashed in 1979.

Brain expert James McGaugh says AJ has a strange obsession that makes her strong memory. However, AJ's memory is not visual. When asked to close her eyes, she could not remember what color clothes researchers were wearing.
