Research conducted by the ANZAC Institute in Australia found that men using androgen therapy (male hormone) restored their ability to produce sperm after stopping treatment.

The study investigated 1,500 people aged 18 to 51 between 1990 and 2005. The average time for sperm recovery is 3-4 months. The rate of recovery is faster in the older group, Asians, who have shorter time to use hormones and normal people have higher sperm density. The most common point of all these people is that the ability to reproduce sperm reaches the level of conception.

Currently, contraceptive measures for men are limited to condoms, vasectomy and intermittent intercourse. For many couples, these solutions are difficult to accept because the effects are not high or difficult to recover, such as vasectomy.
