Nam Dinh, Tien Giang and Bac Ninh provinces have completed the second vaccination, the total number of vaccinated birds is nearly 16.2 million.

The remaining provinces, as of November 15, have deployed vaccination in 52 provinces and cities, of which 20 provinces have completed the first vaccination, including: Hanoi, Ha Tay, Vinh Phuc, Hai Phong, Thai Binh, Dong Nai, Lam Dong, Ninh Thuan, Long An, Ba Ria Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh City, An Giang, Can Tho, Ca Mau, Ben Tre, Bac Lieu, Kien Giang, Vinh Long, Hau Giang, Dong Thap, Soc Trang. Until yesterday, the influenza epidemic continued to spread to a flock of ducks in Binh Thanh Tay commune, Binh Son district, causing 30 deaths. SDAH destroyed 1,250 animals.

Particularly for Vinh Phuc, on October 27, avian influenza outbreaks occurred in 2 livestock households in An Hoa commune, Tam Duong district with 40 chickens and 500 quail dead. SDAH destroyed culled 60 chickens and 4,200 quails. By November 10, the pandemic continued to occur at the grave of chicken raising households in Hung Dao commune, Tam Duong district with 152 dead chickens. The SDAH destroyed 770 chickens and 250 geese.

Clearly in these localities, the focus on preventing bird flu is not good. Although the National Steering Committee for Avian Influenza Prevention has asked localities to stop raising new ducks and quails since last year, households have so far conducted new hamlets. This can be considered as one of the reasons that pathogens continue to spread again.

Culled 136,000 poultry

In some provinces that have previously translated, the number of dead poultry has increased.On 11/14, bird flu occurred in 3 breeding households of 2 communes Thach Thuy and Pha Lai town, Chi Linh district (Hai Duong), killing 380 chickens . Hai Duong Veterinary Department destroyed 3,150 chickens.

1,505 children of 5 households raising ducks in Le Loi commune, An Duong district (Hai Phong) on ​​November 12 also died. Hai Phong Veterinary Department has destroyed 5,220 ducks. By November 13, the influenza epidemic occurred in a household of Tien Hung commune, Tien Lang district with 60 ducks and dead geese. Subsequently, 400 ducks of 2 households in Le Loi commune did not escape the disease. Hai Phong Veterinary Department destroyed 700 ducks.

Thus, in the first half of October, bird flu occurred in 61 communes and wards of 39 districts and towns of 13 provinces and cities including Bac Lieu, Dong Thap, Hanoi, Bac Giang, Quang Nam and Thanh Hoa.
