After a medical visit, doctors at the district hospital determined that Nguyen Tuan Viet had Delta muscular dystrophy. Re-examination at the central level, doctors have indicated: Viet must have surgery. However, after the clinical examination and ultrasound, the Central Hospital E doctors affirmed: Vietnam does not have to operate, just treat by physical therapy and rehabilitation. After a month of practice, some of Viet's motor functions have been restored.

According to Mr. Nguyen Cong Luan, a technician at the Orthopedics Center of Hospital E, at first, the Vietnamese hand could not fold the two sides equally, so far Vietnam has been able to do this movement. Viet himself also felt the effect of the practice, before, his shoulder muscles were very hard, so far it was soft and he could move as usual.

This is good news for patients with Delta muscle atrophy, because the cost of treatment with this method is less expensive, avoiding side effects. But still have to wait for the official conclusion of the Scientific Council.
