The robot's construction skills can threaten to rob millions of jobs on construction sites in the near future.

Construction Robotics Company in New York, USA has developed a semi-automatic robot named Sam that can build 3,000 bricks a day, 6 times the average productivity of normal masons, Sun said on March 27.

Robots include chains, robotic arms and grouting systems.

Robots include chains, robotic arms and grouting systems. Sam robot needs a worker to tile it on its rack. After this stage, the robotic arm will pick up each brick, bring it down to the pump to cover the brick before laying it on the wall. A mason then just needs to remove the mortar from the wall before the robot puts more bricks.

Robots like Sam have begun to be used at construction sites in the United States, prompting experts to worry that they could make millions of builders unemployed in the next two years."Robots will soon be at construction sites, doing human work but at a faster rate," said Richard Valentine-Selsey, construction consultant.
