Vietnam created the original strain to produce vaccines for pneumonia in pigs
Duc Hanh Veterinary Drug Joint Stock Company Marphavet has researched to create a successful bacterial seed that is used to produce pneumonia vaccine in pigs.
The bacterial strains are isolated in Vietnam, built into a process for vaccine production.
Duc Hanh Veterinary Drug Joint Stock Company Marphavet has researched to create a successful bacterial seed that is used to produce pneumonia vaccine in pigs .
Currently, the research team has created a set of bacteria strains that meet the requirements of sterility, purity, representation, safety and effectiveness . for vaccine production.
The procedures related to strains are the same as the process of seed use, the process of seed preservation, and the process of seed testing for the above bacteria is developed and applied.
This is the result of the project under the project "Technology for producing multi-price vaccines for three common pneumonia in pigs" under the National Product Development Program by 2020 managed by the Ministry of Science and Technology , implemented from 2016-2018.
Bacterial strain is contained in a culture vessel.
To create the original strain, the team collected typical specimens from pigs suspected to have pneumonia. Since then, the research has created the original bacterial strain, mixed the antigen of antigen among strains, produced multi-price vaccine to prevent pneumonia for pigs.
Currently, the research team has selected a suitable environment for propagation, selection of breeding methods, identification of physical criteria, density . of primary and secondary varieties.

The lead agency is studying to mix antigens of three types of bacteria causing pig asthma, pneumonia - pneumonia, streptococcus in pigs and evaluating the effectiveness of multi-price inactivated oil vaccines on animals laboratory animals.
Bacterial pneumonia and pneumonia have different virulence, often causing serious injury in pig lungs. The disease can occur in pigs from weaning to adulthood, affecting productivity, reducing growth rates and increasing food consumption rates. Acute can cause pigs to die.
Investment in research and production of vaccines based on bacteria strains isolated in Vietnam makes vaccine production more convenient and proactive in mass vaccination and disease prevention in livestock breeding nationwide.
The strains of bacteria that have been successfully studied include: Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and Streptococcus suis.
- Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae bacteria for producing local pneumonia vaccine in pigs.
- Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae bacteria to produce vaccines for pneumonia-pleuritis in pigs.
- Streptococcus suis bacteria to produce vaccines for streptococcal disease in pigs.
