In the afternoon of October 15, Vietnam Women's Knowledge Association announced the content of the Conference of the Network of Asian Pacific Women Scientists (INWES - APNN) which will be held in Hanoi for 3 days (from 18 - October 20).

With the theme 'Women science for sustainable development in a digital age' , the conference attracted the participation of 300 delegates, female scientists, researchers and lecturers from international and institutes. , domestic school.

According to the Organizing Committee, this conference has taken the initiative to bring out the major issues of global concern: Gender and gender equality in science and technology in the context of industrial revolution 4.0; disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation; nutrition and food safety.

These issues are also organized into seminars for local and international scientists to share the research results as well as the ability to cooperate to solve the difficulties each country is facing.

This is also an opportunity for members of the Asia-Pacific Women's Scientist Network to report on the organization's activities in the past year, making recommendations to enhance cooperation among members. next time.

The Asia-Pacific Women's Scientists Network was established in 2011, with the current membership of 250,000. The network currently has 13 members from 13 countries and territories including Australia, Bangladesh, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Taiwan (China) and Vietnam.

Participating in the Network of members has the opportunity to collaborate research, share experiences and exchange common issues, projects and initiatives to serve the development of each member.
