The Mother King was finally touched by that common heart, so she agreed to let them meet once a year. That is the 7th of the seventh lunar month. On this night every year, a large herd of ravens will fly to the sky and create a bridge with their bodies, crossing the river of gods, called the O ruler bridge.

Only on that night could Niu Lang and the Maiden be able to cross the Milky Way to come together. Disappointment takes place in the middle of summer when warm weather and greenery are bright.
