Adobe Lightroom: for professional photographers

Adobe Systems has just released a trial version of Adobe Lightroom application. This is an application designed to provide a comprehensive photographic workflow for professional paparazzi.

Adobe Lightroom has a completely new user interface, focusing primarily on image issues. Lights-Out mode provides the user with the control panel with tools to blur the background to bring the main subject in the image to the center. Identity Plate allows photographers to apply their own 'brand name' to the application while Quick one-to-One Zoom allows instantaneous zooming in of smooth points in the image.

Adobe's Camera Raw technology allows Lightroom to support over 100 different types of cameras while also incorporating a raw image conversion tool into a simple operation process. Some of Lightroom's other features include a new color separation control tool that allows for richer black-and-white photos with the ability to convert Digital Negative (DNG) format files .

Adobe Lightroom also allows users to browse photos with slide-show mode, the size and location of photos can be stored and forwarded to Macromedia Flash, Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) and HTML.

Initially Adobe Lightroom was tested on Macintosh systems. The official Lightroom version, expected to officially launch later this year, will fully support two Windows and Macintosh platforms.
