Over the weekend, Adobe said it had begun offering two Photoshop products, Elements 6 and Premiere Elements 4 (only for Windows platforms), to the market, promising new improvements for users.

Over the weekend, Adobe said it had begun offering two Photoshop products, Elements 6 and Premiere Elements 4 (only for Windows platforms), to the market, promising new improvements for users.

Adobe's new applications are closely linked, sharing databases and organizational mechanisms, allowing users to better interact with photos and videos.

Two of the new features of Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 were released this time: Photomerge technology (which helps to combine the best photo groups) and the new Quick Selection Tool (which helps minimize the selection - Adjust and combine them into a single click movement.

Meanwhile, Adobe Premiere Elements 4 helps create entertaining movies in just a moment. The new Organizer function (also in Photoshop Elements) helps organize video clips and original photos along with options for effects for people, scenes or events. Users can apply video themes for a series of scenes in just a few clicks to create a full-effect DVD movie.

Currently both new products are sold in two modes: in packages - priced at $ 149.99 (for Photoshop Elements 6 and Premiere Elements 4); or retail - priced at 99.99 USD (for each product).

According to Adobe, the Photoshop Elements version for the Mac platform will be available in early 2008.
