According to the team, the wine has a 12-degree alcohol, a bright yellow color, with a characteristic taste of kudzu. Analysis shows that kudzu contains puerarin that can prevent cancer, is good for the heart, helps intestinal bacteria grow.

Currently, the Center for Young Science and Technology under Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union has been the focal point to transfer the research results of processing wine from kudzu to some interested enterprises.

In addition, sugar produced during fermentation is IMO (isomalto - oli - gosaccharide) with low calorie characteristics, only 40% sweeter than regular sugar, which helps fight aging.

Tu and Trang's research has won the first prize in science research student - Eureka in 2009.
