Discover ancient walls at the Pachacamac monument in Peru

Belgian archaeologists have discovered an ancient temple decorated with colorful murals and precious worshiping objects covered on the raw ground of Pachacamac monuments from pre-Colombo era.

This temple is 25km south of the capital Lima (Peru).

Belgium's Free University (ULB) archaeological team said that from 1938 until now, there have not been any murals discovered in Pachacamac, 465ha archaeological complex, where the foundations are gathered. civilization of lima, wari, ichma, inca, and also where the leaders used to hold ceremonies to ask the prophets about many important issues.

In addition to identifying some of the statues adorned with these unique murals, Belgian archaeologists also hypothesized that earthquakes made the "masterpieces" of yellow, red and black layers. , this white, blue and green loses its close connection.

According to archaeologists, many precious objects covering the ground and the hallway of the Pachacamac area come from different parts of the Andes. These objects are decorated with special materials such as Amazon parrot feathers, black stones from the mountains, shells of Ecuador, mosaic of nacre or Inca porcelain.

In addition, during this excavation, colonial-style glass beads were found in worshiping objects, along with many tombs believed to be of the "upper class".

Belgian experts identified the presence of many of these objects not only to demonstrate the offering of many sacrifices each time the ceremonies were performed at the temple in the period before 1533, but also to assert Pachacamac ruins are a "pilgrimage center" under the Inca Empire.
