East Sea welcomes storms, Bac Bo heavy rain

In the west-northwest direction, the speed is 25km / h, and on the morning of August 23, the storm on the southern sea of ​​Guangdong Province (China), the strongest wind speed increases to 100km / h (level 10). Next, Hato moved west northwest, velocity 20-25km / h and entered mainland Guangdong province, then weakened into a tropical depression.

Although not going to the mainland of Vietnam, but the circulation of the weakened low pressure area from the storm will cause heavy rain for the North from evening and tomorrow night.Heavy rain will pour in on August 24. This morphology lasts until August 25th with a total amount of 200-300mm, the mountain area can be more than 300mm. Experts warn, the North has just undergone nearly two months of rain and soil and water saturated so this rain is likely to recur flash flood risk and landslides.

Hato was the sixth storm to form in the South China Sea from the beginning of the rainy season, during which two attacks hit the central coastal provinces of Talas and Sonca, causing significant damage. According to the meteorological agency, the storm season in 2017 has about 13-15 storms and tropical depressions operating on the East Sea. About three-four landings, directly affecting the mainland of Vietnam, concentrated in Central Vietnam.
