Are you having trouble having a baby? Maybe it's because you haven't eaten enough ice cream! Researchers have found that low-fat dairy diets also cause infertility, as it prevents ovulation.

The study found that this infertile form, also known as non-ovulating infertility, is very popular among women who eat skim milk products such as skim milk and low-fat yogurt.

Jorge Chavarro at Harvard School of Public Health in Boston, Massachusetts, USA and colleagues tracked more than 18,000 women aged 24 to 42 without a history of infertility. For eight years, every two years, researchers asked them if they had tried to vote, that they had tried for more than a year and still failed, and medical reasons for those failures. The women in the study also answered detailed information about the diet during this time.

As a result, women who eat 2 or more low-fat dairy products per day are 85% more likely to be infertile than those who eat less than one skim milk product per week.

In contrast, women who eat fat milk products (such as cream or nonfat milk) at least twice a day will reduce the risk of up to 25% of the disease compared to the group consuming this product less than once. /week.

Chavarro doesn't know why fat milk affects such fertility. The other types of fats he and other previous studies have had no similar effects. "Either the fat in milk has something special, or the fat-soluble substances have reduced the risk of infertility," he said.
