Source: MemberCenter As soon as it was born, Flash has surpassed many other plug-in programs that appeared in the early stages of web development. Now, Adobe is upgrading Flash into a mobile application development platform and can operate without a browser.

Flash has been popular since 1997 thanks to an important agreement between Macromedia and Netscape. At that time, Macromedia (now Adobe) was embarrassed by the "previous egg or chicken first" problem. That is, the lack of content for Flash, they will be hard to attract users to download the program, but without proper plug-ins, web designers will not want to use it.

Therefore, Macromedia decided to pay "a significant amount" of money to Netscape to distribute Flash in 150 KB through their browser. " Soon, Microsoft offered to integrate Flash into Internet Explorer without paying any extra money ," said Kevin Lynch, Adobe's vice president of enterprise platforms.

However, the current AJAX technology complex is enabling professionals to integrate more interactive capabilities into the website. This left Adobe uneasy, but Lynch believed that the two technologies could coexist. For example, Google Finance service is a clever combination between AJAX and Flash.

In addition, the likelihood of Flash's success in the next 10 years will depend on whether or not partners like YouTube accept Flash website design.
