The number of communes suffering from poultry epidemics has shrunk compared to December 30, and 199 communes

In Hai Phong, yesterday, the avian influenza outbreak occurred in 5 livestock households in 4 communes and wards of An Lao, Vinh Bao, An Duong and Le Chan districts, making 70 chickens and 935 dead ducks. Total culled poultry are 2,900 chickens and 5,120 ducks.

Also on November 30, influenza epidemic appeared in 2 poultry households in Yen Thanh commune, Uong Bi town (Quang Ninh), making 317 dead ducks. Total number of poultry destroyed is 917 ducks.

The avian influenza epidemic recurred in Hai Phong from November 7, in Quang Ninh on November 21.

Previously, the Department of Animal Health said, 2 poultry households in Du town, Phu Luong district and Tan Quang commune of Song Cong district (Thai Nguyen) also had outbreaks, making 274 chickens dead. Total culled poultry were 1,402 chickens and 29 ducks. This locality is waiting for test results.

Thus, there are 199 communes and wards in 69 districts, towns in 17 provinces and cities, which have not yet reached 21 days. Hung Yen, Phu Tho, Thai Binh, Hoa Binh, Long An are the provinces where there is no new outbreak during the last 16 days; Bac Giang province has not had any outbreak in the last 9 days.

From October 1 to now, the total poultry culling is 1.91 million (including poultry destroyed in the inner city and inner city). More than 168 million birds have been vaccinated.
