Starting from 20h30, simultaneously turn off lights, decorations and billboards at famous places such as Ngoc Son temple, The Huc bridge, Turtle Tower, King Ly Thai To monument, Opera House, Association Center National Conference, My Dinh Stadium, Dormitory of National Economics University, Sofitel Metropole, Hilton . However, the city also noted that lights should not be turned off in hospitals, production plants, traffic lights, and street lights to ensure traffic .

Comments Vietnam is one of the countries heavily affected by climate change, Ruth Mathews, Project Director of WWF Greater Mekong - Vietnam Program, said that the 2009 campaign is an opportunity for all People around the world expressed interest in this important global issue.

It is singer My Linh, who is very interested in environmental issues, and Prof. Vo Quy, founder and leader of Vietnam Center for Environmental Research and Natural Resource Management. However, WWF Vietnam is still looking for other ambassadors for this campaign.
