He: Accidentally found an extremely rare ancient gold ring in the field

One worker in the UK thought that we found a ring that pulled open cans while detecting metal, but it was actually an extremely rare neck ring.

Ben Bishop found an ancient ring from Queen Elizabeth's time.

At first, Ben thought that the ring was just a ring to open the can of the can.

Ben Bishop, 30, is searching for metal on a field in Glastonbury, England, when he suddenly discovers a gold ring dating from 1550 to 1650.

'I think it was a ring to open soft drinks, because I have found tons of such things for years,' says Ben. 'But it is actually an extremely rare antique gold ring.'

Ben said this is the first time he has found gold in the process of metal detection. He sat down on the ground and looked at the ring for 40 minutes.

The ring was determined to belong to Queen Elizabeth's reign and was worth an estimated $ 12,700.

It will be auctioned by Hansons auction house in Derby, England, on September 27.
