Livescience said Simon and colleagues interviewed 1,611 young people (including men and women) aged 18-23 about their love and affection relationship during the love process. The results show that unsustainable relationships are often associated with depression in women and men. But this trend is most evident in men who use stimulants. This finding rejects the traditional notion that women are more sentimental than men.

"Regardless of how men appear, they are not completely emotionless at events in love , " Simon said.

Much of the previous research on the effects of sexual relations on men and women focused on adults, especially married couples. These studies show that the quality of marriage affects both sexes equally. However, how it is expressed depends on the gender.

'One of our traditional notions is that men should not be sad about love. While women can freely confide in their minds, men find stimulants to get rid of emotions that they shouldn't have.
