Currently, Vietnam has produced antiretroviral drugs for HIV / AIDS patients but is not eligible for the World Health Organization (WHO) certification.

Therefore, through pharmaceutical manufacturing companies, the Government of India will help Vietnam in the production of drugs for HIV / AIDS treatment. Currently, the number of ARV drugs produced by Vietnam is sufficient to supply over 2,000 HIV / AIDS patients while the need of patients is very large.

In order to provide adequate information on HIV / AIDS, the Vietnam Administration for HIV / AIDS has launched a website at www.vaac.gov.vn. This is a website to bring information about HIV / AIDS to organizations and individuals interested in HIV / AIDS prevention.

The website regularly updates information on HIV / AIDS in the world and in the country, serving the direction of the HIV / AIDS prevention and control of the Government, the National Committee for AIDS Prevention and Evils Prevention. drugs, prostitution as well as the Ministry of Health.
