Intel added the ability to run 3D games for G965

Intel has officially upgraded the driver software for the G965 integrated graphics chipset, allowing all systems using this chipset to run 3D games well.

Previously, PC-based graphics systems on the motherboard were often unable to run high-end 3D games. Intel's goal of developing G965 chipset is to overcome this weakness. But until G965 launched Intel still could not write a complete driver to fully enable the capabilities of this chipset.

The G965 chipset is now considered a leap in integrated graphics technology. If previously integrated graphics chipsets could not support advanced features such as drop shadow and pixel. A high-end feature commonly used in today's games is hardware pixel shading that has also been integrated into the G965 chipset.

However, only the updated version of the driver for Windows XP is available. Users can download it here. Meanwhile Vista users will have to wait a while longer.
