Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai, Head of Department of Research and Preservation of Nghe An Museum, said that Dong Son Cultural Collection at the museum has 495 artifacts divided into 4 groups based on material criteria, equal to stone, earthenware, copper and glass.
Along with the artifacts are jewelry belonging to Dong Son culture, the Museum also displays hundreds of other precious artifacts found in Nghe An in the same year belonging to Dong Son culture.The bronze drum collected in Dong Hop commune, Quy Hop district, was found in 2006. The drum has a diameter of 90 cm, being recognized as the largest and most valuable bronze drum in Nghe An up to now.
