After years of waiting, American businesses were finally able to get their hands on Windows Vista and Office 2007 when Microsoft released these two products on November 30.
Yesterday, Microsoft sent an email inviting journalists and businesses to a launch event called Microsoft New Day for Business. According to this email, the ceremony "will mark the launch of three important software from Microsoft". In addition to Vista and Office 2007, Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 will also be released on this occasion.
Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer said the event will be held at the Nasdaq Stock Market at Manhattan Center and at the Marriott Marquis on Times Square, New York.

Initially, both Vista and Office are scheduled to be released at the Christmas season this year, the most exciting shopping season of the year. But in March, Microsoft made the whole PC "frustrated" when it announced it would postpone both software in January 2007, although businesses still have access to them this year.
By June, it was assumed that Office would make its debut in October, but Microsoft decided to step back to match Vista's schedule.
Sooner?
However, according to an information posted by IDG News Service earlier, Microsoft will release these three software in Canada a little earlier than the US market. The Canadian MSDN page wrote that Microsoft will hold New Day for Businesss events throughout the "Land of Maple Leaf" territory, opening in Edmonton, Alberta on November 23.
After that, the launch event will take place in Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and other cities respectively through January 2007.
Although Vista and Office 2007 will reach business users this month, many people claim they will not upgrade Vista immediately but wait until the hardware has been upgraded. Others wait until they have finished calculating the cost of installing the new operating system.
For its part, Microsoft still expects users to install Vista and Office 2007 at the same time. Vista and Office 2007 for normal users will be released in January next year.
