New report: Eat eggs every day for your cardiovascular health

According to the British Heart magazine, a latest report by British and Chinese scientists has shown the link between egg consumption and cardiovascular disease, myocardial infarction , and events. Large coronary artery, hemorrhagic stroke and ischemic stroke.

The survey involved more than half a million healthy volunteers (not suffering from diseases like cancer, heart disease or obesity) from 30 to 79 years old in China. They were asked about the habit of eating eggs and then scientists tracked their health for nearly nine years.

Eating eggs daily will reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.

The results showed that people who ate eggs daily reduced the risk of cardiovascular disease. Specifically, if eating an egg every day, the incidence of hemorrhagic stroke will decrease by 26%, the death rate from hemorrhagic stroke will decrease by 28% and the mortality rate from cardiovascular disease will decrease by 18%.

In addition, those who ate five eggs a week would have a 12% reduction in the incidence of heart attack compared with those who occasionally ate eggs. Hemorrhagic stroke is one of the most common diseases in China, while myocardial infarction is one of the leading causes of death in Western countries.

In the past, eggs were considered to be high-cholesterol agents, making many people think they were bad foods. But recent studies have concluded that eggs help the body increase the amount of beneficial cholesterol (called high-density lipoprotein or HDL) , while helping the body repel bad cholesterol in the blood.

Eggs are a rich source of protein, vitamins and other minerals necessary for body growth. In an egg, less than 35% of daily choline is needed, which is an essential nutrient for the brain and helps to reverse Alzheimer's disease.
