A man in Canada created an impressive marriage proposal by putting an engagement ring on space.
The Huffington Post Alberta reported on December 23, to propose his unmarried wife, Shawn Wright in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, to attach an engagement ring to a weather balloon and launch it 30km into the sky.

Wright proposed to Maylynn Stephenson, his fiancée, for the first time on last year's vacation to Barcelona, Spain. The two have been together for 6 years and have known each other for 20 years.
When he proposed on the beach, Wright had no rings and had to use a substitute. When he returned home, he started saving money to buy rings and planned to give it to his girlfriend in the most unforgettable way."As soon as I saved up to buy the real ring, I started thinking what I could do with it," Wright said.
To bring the ring to the edge of space, Wright built a flying device to bring the ring to safety and bring it back to the starting point. The ring is mounted on a wooden flat float, tied with a weather balloon. Wright also equipped the radio transmitter, satellite navigation and video camera to save the scene. After dropping the sphere, the ring traveled 4 hours in the air before landing 300km from the starting point.

Wright retrieved the proposal ring next to a small pond in Taber, Alta, Canada and watched the video for his fiancée."In the past few months, I didn't work late and I didn't make the weekend. I was just working on a secret plan for you. I love you very much and I really hope you have a feeling. I'm in the whole world, ' Wright told his fiancée in the video.
According to Wright, Stephenson was amazed by the proposal and was very happy. She said yes and the couple will be married next year in Bali, Indonesia.
